The RDMG of Freiburg will be presenting at the World Digital Preservation Day
The Freiburg Research Data Management Group will be represented at the "Conference for the preservation of digital culutral heritage" at the national library in Frankfurt/Main. This event is one of the activities of the "World Digital Preservation Day" on November 29, 2018.
Presentation on access to obsolete data carriers - using examples from the university context (data and environments of research projects)
The Research Data Management Group shares various challenges with "Digital Preservation". The Freiburg RDMG is holding a talk on "Access to data from obsolote data carrier" at the "World Digital Preservation Day" in Frankfurt.
Results and experiences gained from previous research projects, which were started at the chair, were presented as well: EmIL (Emulation-as-a-service in the DNB reading hall).
After the conference, the AG emulation met as part of the Nestor activities. The Freiburg group will take charge of the AG in the near future.
