bwComputerLab successful at Bechtle prize for innovation
The bwComputerLab cooperation project came second at the Bechtle prize for innovation
Prize award in Neckarsulm
The cooperation project bwLehrpool (bwComputerLab), located at the department eScience in Freiburg University's IT Services, has been honored with a prize for innovation. Together with Offenburg, Reutlingen, and Karlsruhe, Freiburg University has developed a flexible work environment for computers which can be used with a standard Linux desktop or Windows and keeps maximum freedom for teaching staff in how they design their course environments. The service is currently in use for the IT Services' own course offers and in some faculties.
