2026-04-28 14:02: Maintenance break for bwSFS file server on 12 May 2026

#ufrstatus Maintenance work will be carried out on the bwSFS file server on Tuesday 12 May 2026 between 10:00 and 17:30. During this time, there may be interruptions to NFS and SMB connections.

Please ensure that all files are closed before the maintenance period begins and that affected shares / drives are not accessed during the maintenance period.

Only SMB and NFS shares of the bwSFS storage system (i.e. primarily “research data storage”) are affected. The bwSFS S3 storage system (StorageGRID) and SMB and NFS shares of the Isilon storage system (home and regular group drives) are not affected by the maintenance and can continue to be used as usual.
