Please enquire in good time with your target institution about their handling of eduroam.
From home
If you want to access resources of the University of Fribourg from home, you will have to authenticate yourself for security or licence reasons, depending on the content.
If the information service you need requires a university IP address, you can establish a VPN connection to the VPN server of the Computer Centre. You can see which services you can use in the RZ-Wiki: VPN for various systems in the section "Which services can you use with the VPN client."
