Termination of service "omnibus" by 30 September 2016

As part of the consolidation and focussing of IT Services over the past years the service "omnibus" for designing a personal website will be terminated by 30 September 2016. If you have previously administered content through omnibus, can in the future use the following services:

Publicly accessible personal homepages and information pages on research projects in CMS, as many have done already. If your institute has its own portal, please contact your portal administrator for instructions on how to integrate your content. If your institute does not yet have a portal, you can request it here (Link auf CMS-Service).

For offering material for download, ILIAS is recommended. An advantage of this is that students have personalized access and that a centralized platform will be used for assembling and providing material.

In the future, possibilities for test and exercise environments for designing websites will be available on websites of RZV StudiCloud. This will allow maximum flexibility with self-administered applications.
