Online event for the presentation of the now DFN-federated offer "bwLehrpool": The German Research Network (DFN) invited to an online event on the topic "DFN-federated service bwLehrpool" on 29.06.2023. The event aimed to inform operational contact persons in IT departments, colleagues in charge of procurement, e-learning coordinators, project managers for research and development projects, and managing directors of research associations, doctoral colleges, and collaborative research centers about the new federated service "bwLehrpool". This is intended to extend the state service, which has been established for some time, into a nationwide offering.
2023-06-28 HISinOne available again: The campus management system HISinOne is available again after successful upgrade to the version 2023.06.
Update 2: Malfunction S3 (StorageGRID): One of the two failed StorageGRID nodes could be put back into operation yesterday. The availability of all data is now guaranteed again and there should no longer be any restrictions on S3 accesses. The recovery of the second failed node will be continued today.
Delays in the processing of card requests and the issuing of UniCards: The delay concerns personalised guest cards as well as cards for employees of the hospital.
Wednesday, June 28th 2023, the whole day - HISinOne update to version 2023.06: The Campus Management System HISinOne (productive and Test2) will be updated to the new version 2023.06 (no veto was lodged by faculties and selected central institutions). The system will not be available on Wednesday, June 28th 2023, the whole day.
Disturbance S3 (StorageGRID): There was a failure of two StorageGRID nodes at the FR2 site. This can currently lead to error messages for S3 requests. We are working on a solution.
20.06.23: PhotoApps deactivated in bwSync&Share: Due to performance problems, the Photos app is deactivated.
22.06.2023 17:00 - 18:30: Maintenance Webserver uni-freiburg.de: On 22.06.2023, a necessary system update of the web servers of uni-freiburg.de will take place from 17:00 to probably 18:30, which will make the website temporarily unavailable and the WordPress backend only available to a limited extent. 16.06.23: Malfunction OnlyOffice in bwSync&Share fixed: The malfunction that was present in OnlyOffice since the update of Nextcloud has been fixed. Documents can be edited again.

15.06.2023 - BBB cluster back to version 2.5 for the time being: Due to problems with the audio connection with Mozilla Firefox from the University Hospital, the BBB cluster has once again been temporarily reset to version 2.5. We are working on a solution to the problem and will then inform you again about the update.
