Surveillance audit of ISO 27001 certification completed: Last Friday, the surveillance audit for the ISO certification, initially issued in November 2021, was successfully completed. The central goals of the certification are the creation of the necessary foundations for handling sensitive data and the professionalisation of the core operation of the data centre.

Disconnection of the Cisco VPN access: The outdated Cisco VPN access was finally deactivated at the beginning of October. It was replaced by the FortiClient VPN from Fortinet.

New SPSS 27, 28, 29 licence codes available in Asknetshop: The SPSS licence codes for the new licence period 01.10.2022-30.09.2023 are available again in the Asknetshop.
SPSS - Not yet available through Asknet: We are currently waiting for IBM to send us the new SPSS licence keys (valid from 01.10.2022-30.09.2023). Unfortunately, no new licences can be purchased via the Asknetshop until then. Licences from the previous period can still be used until 31.10.2022.

Interruptions in backup/archive operations due to extensive updates: Do, 29.Sep 2022 - Over the coming weekend, security-critical kernel patches and updates of the Spectrum Protect servers must be carried out. This will lead to repeated interruptions in operation.

Sending mail to some providers - Mo 19.09.22: Due to a sharp increase in the amount of mail sent at enrolment and the start of the semester, providers such as hotmail.com, outlook.com, live.com and others reject mail from us.
