Zoom licenses obtained for another year: The Zoom licenses were extended until 25.4.2023.
Resolved: Sophos licensing malfunction: The problem has now been resolved at most sites. Users' computers should be able to receive updates as usual. Administrators of Sophos servers who are still affected by the report of the missing license should contact their colleague at the RZ.
Malfunction: Sophos license currently unavailable: There is currently a failure in the Sophos license check. The service is currently not available even for the remote installations. Likewise, the on-access scan etc. is affected and currently not functional.
User service closed: Unfortunately, both colleagues are ill at the same time, so the user service is currently unavailable.
13.04.2022: BigBlueButton temporarily unavailable: In the period from 11:00 - 11:30, there were difficulties at the BBB instances. These were temporarily unavailable and were replaced by backup machines. Since 11.30 a.m. the whole cluster is running again. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you still experience problems, please let us know shortly (onlinemeetings@rz.uni-freiburg.de).
Finished: general file server maintenance 3 - 4 p.m. because of RAM module exchange: Maintenance on the general file server has been completed and the RAM has been successfully replaced. All connections should work again as before.
13.04: general file server maintenance 3 - 4 p.m. because of RAM module exchange: At one of our storage nodes a RAM module has to be exchanged at short notice. Therefore, the affected node will be shut down tomorrow, Wednesday, 04/13/22, starting at 3 pm. The maintenance work will take about 30 - 60 minutes.
Router conversion II completed: The router conversion work has been completed.
07.04.2022 from 8 pm: Router rebuild II: On Thursday evening from 8 p.m. onwards, we will be carrying out conversion work on the incoming router. During the conversion work there will be interruptions in the connection to the Internet.
Docata: Malfunction resolved: The error, due to which the application for acceptance as a doctoral student in Docata was temporarily not possible, has been fixed.
