The University IT Services ("RZ") is the IT service provider for the University of Freiburg. The RZ has been the central operating facility since 1966. We provide the IT infrastructure for the university. On our web pages you will find all information about our tasks and services.

This affects a small number of external telephones at barriers and (main) building entrances, as well as the publicly accessible wall-mounted handsets in the university library. VoIP handsets at workstations and softphones (OpenScape UC) are not affected. |

The systems will be available again from 11:00 on 15 September 2026.
