The University IT Services ("RZ") is the IT service provider for the University of Freiburg. The RZ has been the central operating facility since 1966. We provide the IT infrastructure for the university. On our web pages you will find all information about our tasks and services.

VoIP handsets at workstations and softphones (OpenScape UC) are not affected. |

The following are affected: Open WebUI, AI Proxy, AI assistants in ILIAS and the AI API Gateway. The system will be taken offline on 14 September 2026 at 23:00. The systems will be available again from 11:00 on 15 September 2026.
