RDMG and RZ with bwSFS, BioDATEN and DataPLANT at E-Science Days
Presentation of bwSFS during poster session 3 on Thursday afternoon
From March 4 to 5, 2021, the E-Science Days 2021 "Share Your Research Data" will take place as an online event. Research data and research data management as well as the developments of best practices and the different infrastructures will be in the focus: By sharing research data, scientists can benefit from the possibility to reuse existing datasets and thus increase the efficiency of the overall scientific progress. Data sharing creates more transparency and can be seen as a quality assurance measure. It fosters new collaborations, promotes interdisciplinary and international cooperation, and ultimately increases knowledge gain. All these aspects serve good scientific practice and ensure the high quality standard of our research.
The eScience department is involved in various FDM activities such as DataPLANT in the context of NFDI, the Science Data Center BioDATEN. In the context of bwSFS (poster session), the focus is on topics such as InvenioRDM, Gitlab, S3 storage and the integration of infrastructures (cloud, HPC) and corresponding services for the community.
