Second meeting of bwLehrpool service users

The second bwLehrpool meeting will take place on December 8, 2017 at the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften in Heilbronn. The event starts at 10.30 a.m. and is expected to go until 4 p.m.. Topics are, among others, the latest progress reports and application scenarios, the presentation of the financial report, the latest regarding the implementation of feature requests, monitoring statistics and a outlook for what is to come.

Morning (from 10.30 a.m.)

30min: report by the HS Heilbronn on bwLP experiences/application scenarios etc.
15 min: brief financial report, how are we doing, what are the costs etc.
15 min: comparing implemented features with last years requests
30 min: presenting monitoring statistics
~ 12 p.m.: lunch

Afternoon (from ~ 12.45 p.m.)

Time for feedback, user requests, other user feedback (what roles should be available per default in the permission management (Sat server), e.g. only insight to statistics, Standby through MiniLinux,...) Presentation of new features and planned features. Completed features: Info screen/terminal, integration of additional network drives, DNBD3 (+preperation local caching), VMware Player 14 -> outlook (VBOX close to finalisation, QEMU still need a bit more time), pool control (restart/shutting down), advanced statistic, LightDM, Ubuntu 14.04 -> Ubuntu 17.10, QT4 ->QT5
