Closure and dismantling of the PC pools in KG II
Due to the imminent closure of the building, the PC pools in KG II operated by the University IT Services will be dismantled in the next few weeks. This location has already been replaced by the PC Pools in Werthmannstraße 4, the necessary structural renovations have been completed.
Just before the renovation
Since a general closure of the building was announced for August 2020 and the University IT services cannot offer supervision for this area due to the Corona Ordinance, it was decided to take the PC pools on the 4th floor out of operation.
The still very powerful machines will be used to modernize the PC pool -100/-101 in the basement of the Uni IT Services building.
