Announcement: Shutdown of the jitsi server on 31.03.2021
The "Jitsi" videoconferencing service, which was installed ad hoc during the first wave of the Corona pandemic, will be discontinued at the end of the winter semester.
As an alternative, all employees of the university can use "BigBlueButton", which is also operated as an open source system on servers of the computer center. All employees can log in with their university account at https://bbb.uni-freiburg.de and create as many meetings as they wish. External participants can be invited here as easily as with jitsi via a link. BBB also runs directly in the browser. Chrome is recommended here, as it is for jitsi.
