Service description "High Performance Computing" now available
After the operation of bwForCluster NEMO has started, a service description of High Performance Computing in Freiburg is now available. As part of the bwHPC Baden-Württemberg concept, IT Services at Hermann-Herder-Str. offer computing capacities for researchers from Baden-Württemberg.
The service description (link). is available in three forms:
- with bwForCluster Nemo (location Freiburg) for Elementary Particle Physics, Neuroscience and Microsystem Engineering at Universities in Baden-Württemberg
- with all other bwForClusters for all researchers in Baden-Württemberg working in one of the following fields: bwForCluster JUSTUS (location Ulm) for Computational Chemistry, bwForCluster MLS&Wiso (location Mannheim/Heidelberg) for Economics and Social Sciences as well as Life Sciences, and bwForCluster BinAC (location Tübingen) for Bio-Informatics and Astrophysics
- with bwUniCluster (location Karlsruhe) for all other research areas and for teaching as a general HPC ressource in Baden-Württemberg
