Current developments in HPC in Freiburg
Freiburg's HPC offers have been extended continuously over a period of two years.The HPC-concept develops a step-by-step approach. Older HPC resources of bwGRiD and BFGare being substituted by more modern hardware within the Baden-Württemberg framework for HPC. Freiburg's IT Services have also newly constituted their eScience department within IT Services. This department is responsible for the current large acquisitions for HPC.
This is where the new HPC cluster "NEMO" will be set up.
