ILIAS Workshops for Beginners and Advanced Users (Summer Term 2014)

This summer term we are once again offering ILIAS workshops for both beginners and advanced users. Now is the time to change from Campus Online to ILIAS!

ILIAS Introductory Workshops

During this three hour workshop, you will get to know ILIAS from the perspective of students as well as teachers. You will receive an overview of the numerous functions, and you will learn how to design a virtual classroom, how to structure it, how to upload course material, and how to administer objects such as forums, wikis, and ether pad.

ILIAS Workshops - Advanced

In order to participate in this workshop you should already have participated in an introductory workshop or be well versed in using the platform.

Online-Cooperation and Communication

During this workshop you will discuss and test diverse ILIAS tools for collaborative work as well as their application in teaching (e.g. wikis, blogs, forums, etherpad).

Designing (Self-)Tests, Surveys, and Exercises

ILIAS offers options for designing (self-)tests, surveys, as well as a module for electronically submitting data. These tools will be introduced, tested, and discussed.

Further Information and Registration

All workshops start on the hour and take place in the IT-Services Building (Hermann-Herder-Strasse 10, basement). You will need a university account in order to register. Please register here (via FRAUW).

Workshops for specific subject areas according to demand

We are happy to offer workshops for groups of 5 or more participants for individual subject areas or institutes. Please contact ilias@rz.uni-freiburg.de to book a workshop.
