HPC team at ISC Frankfurt
Freiburg's HPC team is part of the bwHPC-C5 team at ISC Frankfurt. Just in time for this convention, performance measurements of NEMO cluster were finished.
Several universities are represented at iSC Frankfurt. Diverse topics in the field of HPC hardware and application are the focus of this convention. The current list of the top 500 clusters was presented (link). The event offers a chance for gaining information on new technologies, such as specific storage solutions for the planned LSDF II. The HPC team within the department eScience as part of Freiburg's IT-Services is part of the bwHPC-C5 team, and it is represented together with the TIER-3 clusters of the state.
