HPC Eucor Seminar for students in Strasbourg
On 29 April, the HPC center of Strasbourg university organized an afternoon seminar together with Freiburg's HPC team. This targeted students of Lycée Polyvalent Marguerite Yourcenar in Erstein. Talks on physics, Geology, Neuroscience, and Biology were to give an insight into potential future fields for study and work.

Freiburg's HPC group within the department eScience (IT Services) has been cooperating with the Centre de Calcul de l'university de Strasbourg for some time. Within the framework of Eucor, colleagues offered an afternoon seminar for students of Lycée Polyvalent Marguerite Yourcenar in order to provide insights into potential future fields for work and study:

- Zacharie Duputel on earth science
- Bernd Wirbelt on super computing
- Stephanie Blandin on biology/Genomics
The event took place in English and French.
