Online course: Copyright and Creative Commons

Stuttgart University Library offers a two-part online course on "Copyright and Creative Commons Licenses (not only) for Open Access and OER".

Part 1 focuses on copyright law. Using a relatively simple model, questions about restrictions and licenses - such as Creative Commons - are almost self-evident. The second part deals with the practical question of how to reference works with Creative Commons licenses and how to use CC-licensed works of third parties in a legally secure way.

The two-part course can be booked individually (with Part 1 as a prerequisite for Part 2).
