2024-08-07 09:55: Maintenance break due to update ILIAS systems on 18/09/2024

#ufrstatus On 18.09.2024 all ILIAS platforms (teaching, continuing education, kosmic, e-exam, medical) will be updated to the new version ILIAS 8. The systems will therefore not be available all day from 09:00 - 18:00. Please take this into account when planning your schedule.

With the update, the following new features will be available for the winter semester:

Integration of the matrix chat in ILIAS courses and groups incl. automatic user synchronisation

Online whiteboards in ILIAS as a new course object "Whiteboard"

AI chatbot

The update will also include an important change that will affect videos embedded in pages, among other things:

The embedding of HTML formatting, iframe embedding and Javascript code on ILIAS course, learning module and question pages will be deactivated. ILIAS 8 no longer supports these functions. Please check your courses and content and switch to other variants of embedding (e.g. videos via ViMP or Panopto, YouTube videos via media objects in the page editor) or formatting.
