#ufrstatus On Mon 17.03.2025 from 13:00 there will be several interruptions due to security updates and restructuring in the WLAN (eduroam). The entire WLAN at the university will be affected. The restructuring is expected to last several days #wartung #stoerung
For security reasons, we have to update all WLAN antennas with new firmware. This will take place in several steps and affects over 1000 antennas throughout the university. Furthermore, the entire WLAN infrastructure must be licensed under an extended manufacturer specification regarding security and extended frequency ranges. The work will take several days and there will be several interruptions and faults in eduroam during this time.
