19.06.2019: Phishing email warning

Important warning regarding phishing emails with subject line "Ablaufbenachrichtigung" which claimsto be about a supposed expiration of your ILIAS account.

Dear ILIAS users,

we have been informed that since yesterday evening there have been phishing emails going around that claim that your ILIAS account is about expire. Recipients of these emails are being sent a link, through which one can supposedly report and reactivate one´s account. As "sender" they use an employee that supposedly works for "IT Diensten" of the university IT Services, under the address "bouyouma@rz.uni-freiburg.de".

Should you receive/have already received such an email:

Please ignore the email and delete it. The email was not sent by the University of Freiburg IT Services!

Should you have already clicked the link by accident and entered your Uni account on a foreign site, please change your password immediately thorugh our account management platfrom MyAccount.
