General file server: Maintenance and network changes on 29.08.2022 between 9 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.

On Monday, 29.08.2022, various maintenance work will take place, which is expected to last between 9 am - 11:30 pm. Individual interruptions at different times must be expected. Affected services and impacts are described below. Due to a bug in the code, we have currently disabled the public areas on the ILIAS learning platforms. All courses and content that can be accessed after logging into the personal area are accessible normally.

On 17.8.22 from 16:00 Panopto is not available due to the consolidation of all identity providers of the University of Freiburg. The downtime will last a few hours and Panopto will be fully usable again after checking on 18.8.22 from approx. 11:00 am.

The new card production environment is now in operation. With the exception of non-personalised facility cards, cards of the type "UniCards for guests" and "UniCards for employees" (managed in the University Hospital's personnel administration system) can be produced and issued again.

The old production system QISbatch, which was used for the administration of guest UniCards, has been switched off for technical reasons. The shutdown does not affect student ID cards and ID cards for employees that are managed directly by the University.
