Some of the systems of the University of Fribourg were not accessible on Saturday (10.9.2022).: The primary cause of the failure was resolved. Due to a chain of several problems, a power failure occurred in a central component. The data centre is currently working on rectifying the subsequent faults so that all systems are working normally again.

Strongly delayed reaction bwSync&Share: This morning, the KIT-hosted system for sharing data and collaborating on documents, bwSync&Share, is (severely) delayed both when displaying file lists and when loading documents for editing. A message has been sent.
Certificate problem mail server: At the moment, the mail server only works with a self-signed certificate, so many clients refuse to accept mails. The colleagues are working flat out on this.

HISinOne available again: The campus management system HISinOne is available again after a successful update.
General file server: Maintenance completed: The extensive maintenance of the general file server is finished.
Wednesday, August 31th 2022 from 4 pm - HISinOne maintenance: The campus management system HISinOne (productive, demo, active test) is not available on Wednesday, August 31th 2022 from 4 pm for approx. 60 min. due to system maintenance.
General file server: Maintenance and network changes on 29.08.2022 between 9 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.: On Monday, 29.08.2022, various maintenance work will take place, which is expected to last between 9 am - 11:30 pm. Individual interruptions at different times must be expected. Affected services and impacts are described below. PLEASE NOTE: on this day, in addition to some updates, there will also be a change in the network infrastructure, so please be sure to read the section on network infrastructure.
Thurs. 25.08.2022, 18:00 - 19:00: Router conversion in computer science: During the time mentioned above, a new router will be installed in the Computer Science Department. This will mean that no network will be available in the entire area of the computer science campus.

10.08.2022: Learning platform ILIAS - public areas currently deactivated: Due to a bug in the code, we have currently disabled the public areas on the ILIAS learning platforms. All courses and content that can be accessed after logging into the personal area are accessible normally.
Maintenance break bwSync&Share on 18.08.: Used in item listings and search results. Due to an update of the Nextcloud software through which bwSync&Share is delivered, this service will be unavailable on 18.08.2022 from 18:00 to 20:00.
Online training of the ZOERR on Open Educational Resources: One more time ZOERR offers its training on OER online. Dates are Thursday 08.09.22 and 15.09.22, from 10 a.m. s.t. to 11:45 a.m.
Foxit PDF Reader and Editor contain security vulnerabilities: Version 12 of the Foxit PDF Reader and Editor, which is also popular at the University of Freiburg, contains security gaps which have been closed by the manufacturer. Please update!
Panopto unavailable from Wed Aug 17, 4pm to Thu Aug 18, 2022, approx 11am: On 17.8.22 from 16:00 Panopto is not available due to the consolidation of all identity providers of the University of Freiburg. The downtime will last a few hours and Panopto will be fully usable again after checking on 18.8.22 from approx. 11:00 am.
