The campus management systems HISinOne and LSF are currently shut down for security reasons
Following a security warning from the system manufacturer, the campus management systems HISinOne and LSF are currently shut down for security reasons.
Announcement: Adobe Connect shutdown at the end of the lecture period
On 08/08/2021, the annual license of Adobe Connect will expire. Since the introduction of ZOOM and BigBlueButton, we have seen a steady decline in demand. Therefore, the University IT Services have decided to discontinue the university Adobe Connect server at the end of the lecture period. Those who want to use the functionality of Adobe Connect beyond this date and do not want to switch to BBB or ZOOM can switch to the Adobe Connect server of the "DFN-Verein" at no cost.
HISinOne available again
The campus management system HISinOne is available again after a successful update.
bwLehrpool available in the geology pool rooms
In the two pool rooms of Geology (Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences) bwLehrpool is now also available.

The myAccount service is available again.
myAccount maintenance break on Fri, 14.05.21 from 12:00-12:30 p.m.

Adobe Connect available again
The problem could be solved by a new license file from Adobe. Live meetings and the retrieval of recordings can take place again. We apologize for the outage.

New licenses for Zoom, Sunday booked and assigned
Last Sunday, the procured Zoom licenses were successfully booked in the Zoom portal and automatically assigned to the licensed accounts. There were no interruptions in service. More information can be found below.

INFO: LDAP server certificate expires in a few days and must be replaced. With correctly installed root CA certificates, no adjustments are necessary.
04/26 16:15: Malfunction mail server -- fixed
Update 16:45: the problem is fixed. Due to a failure of a backend in the cluster, some mailboxes are not accessible. The problem is being tackled.
26.04.2021, 11:40: Malfunction in the Belwue backbone
Due to the above mentioned disturbance in the Belwue backbone there was a short interruption of our external connection.
24./25.04.21 Interruptions TSM operation due to kernel update
Important, security critical kernel updates have to be performed on all TSM servers. TSM operation is restricted during this time, access to tapes may be interrupted.

Call for Proposals International Virtual Academic Collaboration
With a new round of calls for proposals for the IVAC - International Virtual Academic Collaboration program line, the DAAD is funding courses that are designed with international partner universities and offered in digital form.
ILIAS database maintenance completed
The maintenance of the ILIAS database has been completed. We have done everything to get the best possible performance out of the ILIAS DB cluster.
19.04.21 from 21:30h: ILIAS Maintenance - Database Optimization
In order to analyze the resource bottlenecks in the database that occurred today in more detail and to carry out optimizations, ILIAS will be shut down again from 21:30. A maintenance break is to be expected until about 0:00h.

Maintenance and expansion of bwCloud and de.NBI Cloud successfully completed
The necessary annual maintenance work at all four bwCloud sites was successfully completed and all VMs can be started again by their users. In the course of this, a renewed RAM expansion for 20 de.NBI nodes took place.
