2024-07-18 11:56: Matrix security phrases/keys not set correctly for some users
Dear colleagues and students,
Unfortunately, an error has recently occurred in the Element client. As a result, the security phrases/keys may not have been set correctly and you will probably lose access to your encrypted messages after logging out and back in. Fortunately, we were able to identify all users affected by this problem and write to you individually. We have provided step-by-step instructions on how to set up your security phrase or security key correctly.

whether you are affected by the error yourself and receive instructions on how to rectify the error.

A warning symbol in the form of a red sign with an exclamation mark appears next to the messages you have sent:
