Last reminder: Adobe Connect shutdown 08.08.2021
As announced in May, the Adobe Connect virtual classroom system is now due to be shut down. The license expires on 08.08.2021, after which the system will no longer be accessible.

[UPDATE 10:37 am] Mail server is working again as requested. Please excuse the inconvenience. [ Original ] Since approx. 09:00h there is a malfunction of the mail server Communigate. We are working on error analysis and fixing the problem.
Kernel updates TSM server next weekend
Important security patches have to be applied again. During the work no access to the TSM servers is possible.
OTRS: Deleting old tickets
Unfortunately, in the course of an OTRS update, all tickets (including tickets with the status "open") older than one year have been irrevocably deleted.
myAccount Reboot
The myAccount service must be rebooted at 11.15 due to an update. Thanks for your understanding.
Fixed: myAccount malfunction
Due to technical problems, the myAccount service is currently only available to a very limited extent. We are working on the solution of the problem!

Change of the mail server configuration in HISinOne
In the campus management system HISinOne the configuration of the mail server was changed today at 16:10. This should solve problems with target email addresses @hotmail, @live, @outlook.
HISinOne available again
The campus management system HISinOne is available again after a successful update.
Maintenance Announcement: Fileserver / central storage system: Exchange of a RAM module on Thursday, 15.07.21 between 16 - 17 hrs.
At one of our storage nodes a RAM module has to be exchanged at short notice. Therefore, the affected node will be shut down next Thursday, the 15.07.21 from 16 o'clock. The maintenance work will take about 30 - 60 minutes.
bwLehrpool: Wikis and updated documentation
As part of the ongoing update of bwLehrpool documentation, the RZ's bwLehrpool wiki pages have been streamlined to include references to the cross-university bwLehrpool state service wiki.

Due to the short-term power outage in Freiburg, there are isolated disruptions in the network area and in the central services of the university.
2021-07-08T07:15: Malfunction in the bwCloud (Update: 10:20 a.m. fixed)
Since 2021-07-08 - 07:15, the bwCloud has been partially out of service due to a large-scale fault (severe fluctuation in the city area, which affected some fuses in Machine Hall II in the RZ). Investigations are still ongoing. Updates will be provided here in this incident report. Update 10:20 a.m.: The bwCloud is back in operation.

myAccount: Reset password disturbed
Unfortunately, passwords cannot be reset in myAccount at the moment. We are working on a solution to the problem.
Planned maintenance break bwSync&Share for security update
On July 7, there will be a maintenance break re. bwSync&Share platform between 6:00 and 9:00 pm in order to apply an urgent security update. The service will not be available during this time. Thank you for your understanding.
HISinOne available again
The campus management system HISinOne (productive) is available again after a successful update to the version 2021.06.
End of the application period for the winter semester 2021/22 for some courses of studies on July 1, 2021 instead of June 30, 2021.
Due to the limited availability of the application portal on June 30, 2021, the application deadline for the winter semester 2021/2022 for some courses of studies ends on July 1, 2021 instead of June 30, 2021. You can find the list of the courses concerned on the detail page of the message.
Tue 29.06.2021 from 20:00: short interruptions of the external connection
On Tue 29.06.2021 from 20:00 the transition from the University network to the Belwue (State University Network) will be restructured. This may lead to short interruptions at the transition from the University network to Belwue, i.e. connections from and to the outside may be disrupted.

myAccount list management disturbed
Unfortunately, the myAccount list management is currently disrupted. We are working on a solution to the problem.
Fixed: File server / central storage system: Maintenance work on Wednesday, June 23rd, 21 from 9 a.m.
Update 25.06.21, 16:10]: the affected storage node, which blocked further maintenance, was made executable again today by the manufacturer. UPDATE: The server is available again, cleanup is still ongoing. Client connections are available again.
File server / central storage system: maintenance work for Wednesday, 23.06.21 from 9 a.m. onwards
on Wednesday, 23.06.21 a system update of the file server / central storage system will be performed. The maintenance work will start around 9 am and is expected to last 9 hours. Individual interruptions at different times must be expected. The affected services and the effects are described below.
